Vicky
The Vicky family is recorded as one of the most prominent cow families in Australian Angus history. In 1959 Merrigrange Angus purchased a heifer from Victoree Angus. From this, a great family line started. Cows such as the exceptional breeder Merrigrange X72 and her progency that followed – D114, H43 and T5 were all foundation breeders from the Vicky bloodline. They all bred exceptionally well, topping sales and winning shows. This is one of the most dominant families in that era. Merridale D55 continued the dominance of the Vicky line – a Networth daughter that has seen her progency topping cattle sales for years. Her daughters continue to carry on the tradition at Merridale.
